RE: City staffing...while there certainly were vacant positions cut citywide and one person losing their job, weren't all of those positions restored not that long ago? Also, reportedly, staffing for MAPS 3 is being paid for out of the MAPS 3 funds, so I am not sure if I am buying what they are selling here.

Also, read the constantly changing "reasons" for this mess...

• We don't have the money
• We do have the money
• We don't have the lights
• We do have the lights
• It is an egress issue
• There is no egress issue
• Things were conscientious/deliberately done
• No, things weren't conscientious/deliberately done

Steve,

You continue to show us how journalism is done. Thanks for your hard work as well. Next time you are talking to the planning folks at OKC, tell them there are a lot of citizens that are very pleased with all the hard work they have put into these projects. And there is nothing wrong with -- well getting it wrong sometimes and making it right. We understand that is going to happen. Don't we wish we could just all be perfect? :)

I just think its important to point out, the traffic on walker and Hudson is minimal even on the busiest days. I don't think this is such a big issue, at least not in the immediate future. I live on Walker at the Legacy and I simply do not see that many people driving around this part of the city. Maybe in 20 years when development continues in the area that will change, but I don't see an issue with the city taking there time here.
