A Quick Thanks to the New OKC Central Sponsor
Imagine my surprise when the new sponsor for OKC Central turned out to be Crain Mortgage. It was the firm’s founder, Danny Crane, who as a former VP with GMAC Mortgage correctly predicted in early 2008 that changes were about to make high-end, for-sale condominium development a dud both nationally and locally. He also correctly predicted the downtown market was shifting toward apartments.

It got me moved to the front of a long line at Legal Seafood in Boston, when the show was on. I had to show them my ID but they loved it.
I sometime give speeches and when the show was on, I would always start with “Okay, let’s get this over with… my name is Danny Crain”, saying it like “Denny”. It was fun to watch the laughter go through the crowd, seeing who watched the show.
I bet Danny Crane/Crain got lots of jokes about Boston Legal.
