This old wooden building - once likely a grocery - has been boarded up and empty for decades.

But what if…..

It could look like this?

There are still a lot of these old neighborhood groceries all over the center of town. I’ve seen some turned into residences or studios. The exteriors generally don’t get much of a makeover, but at least they don’t get torn down.

I love that building in Deep Duece. I always thought it would be a great neighborhood bar.

Is the building for sale? At a REASONABLE price?

I believe that is owned by the same people who own the house to the north, Melvin Luster’s Trust. I found that on Oklahoma County Assessor and Doug has a blog post about it. Just google Melvin Luster Oklahoma City and you can learn all about the history of the house.

I have looked at that same building and wondered if it was for sale. Maybe it would make a great OKC Central project. :)
