This is good news! Louie’s is a great local restaurant/bar and will add to the street life on Walker.
This is good news because MidTown Deli is terribly run. Poor service, bad atmosphere. Louie’s will at least have their act together…
George, it’s possible they will be. But when I last asked a couple weeks ago, even they didn’t know for sure.
This is a good thing. If Midtown Deli wasn’t that great, then a replacement that has it’s act together will do wonders in Midtown. I’d love it if every establishment could be a local hole in the wall with awesome food and questionable service, but thats just me. The reality is that places in Midtown are staffed by locals that care about the area and that’s where the character comes from.
