Keep the statues, move them to a sculpture park or elsewhere downtown if necessary. Name is a good name, but I like Civic Center Park as well, good ring to it. Historic Markers could be updated or incorporated into the new design. Honestly how many people go look at these things now? The only people that occupy the park are the homeless or iceskaters in December.
