I would like to see an in depth interview with Jane Jenkins explaining DOKC responsiblities, how and why a bid process works, how much it costs rate payers, what decides the new bid to come to pass (is it a vote), what is the plan this new bid is to acheive, and the results of the study done on the pros and cons of the existing bid. I think alot of rate payers and citizens theare uneducated on this type of financeing.
Sandridge Executives on the request to demolish the 4 buildings. Ask to see the structural reports from several different independent firms. Remind them of the even better PR they’d get by spending a few extra million (chump change for an oil company) to restore the structure of the India Temple and to convert it into modern use such as housing or a hotel with ground level retail.
Interview Tom Ward on if he’d be willing to show structural reports from several different independent design firms showing the structure is “unstructurally stable and beyond repair.” Odd that developers were going to use it for housing about 3-4 years ago and now all the sudden it’s deemed worthless. I’d like the public to see the reports. Remind Tom that for a few extra million (chump change for Sandridge) they could probably sound up the structure and get FAR more PR than they ever will with a suburban style plaza.
I’d like to see an interview with someone about the “Little Flower” and “Hubcap Alley” areas that were mentioned in the ULI presentation. I drove through both areas recently, and wondered about the history and if there is any organization outside of C2S ideas for revitalization.

Steve, I had a great time on my trip to Downtown today, and I discovered a few things on my little walk between City Hall and AT&T Bricktown Ballpark that opened my eyes to some issues that will need to be addressed soon, if not now. I will e-mail you with them, and supporting photos.
