If ga ga is willing to book a date at the Ford, there’s really no way to turn that down right now – too big of a gate – huge night financially for the Ford, downtown, etc.

I think what they’ve done so far looks pretty good. They’ll get it done.

Even if we were to win the NBA Championship (which we sadly won’t this year) there is no way the team will still be playing in the Ford Center on July 20th. Not sure if the Ford Center will be entirely closed for the outside renovations.

Without knowing much about the project, I doubt that you can blame only the city for the project not being kicked off yet. They are probably waiting on the end of the Thunder season and completion of construction documents. I don’t think GaGa will hold up the renovations.

The city has decided that bringing the GaGa to OKC is more important than the exterior renovations to the Ford Center.

Why are they dragging their feet so much to the exterior renovations at the Ford? I’ve been anxiously awaiting them..can’t wait to add some “design” to the Ford Center so that it can move beyond its appearance as a round loaf of bread.

Clearly we’re of different generations Michael. I’m unaware of Lady Ga(g)ga(g) coming to town, but find an average girl with no talent and a bad singing voice, provide her with a synthesizer, and I’m sure the Lady Ga(g)ga(g) fans will be equally entertained.
