Yeah no kidding. Those paint samples have been up for at least about 2 years. I live blocks away and drive by all the time, I haven’t seen any sort of workers there in at least a year. I know Howard and Clagg have recently talked about the property again, but haven’t seen any signs of progress.
I keep asking about the Osler and Traveler’s bldgs downtown..no answers. Is there anyway we could please please get a real MidTown status update? I see the Cline is supposed to be going residential now instead of office, welcome news. The Packard exterior continues to look on the verge of completion despite interior work being exactly where it was two years ago..just gutted and sitting there. Traveler’s Life bldg next door? Osler? What about 1101 N Broadway–looked like it’s also had work done.
Guys, I was answering a question that was submitted via Twitter. I never portrayed this as breaking news.
As for the Osler, there is no new news that I’m aware of. The old Traveler’s building, which I assume is Hadden Hall you’re referring to, and the Kline are both slowly being converted into apartments.
I hear a deal is close for leasing of the Packard Building.
Alright alright Steve! That stinks that there’s no news for the Osler..and yeah, Hadden was the name I couldn’t think of. Packard deal is for some kind of restaurant/retail? Hopefully..
the paint samples have been up for a couple of years… When the Midtown group was gutting everything they owned – getting them all ready for redevelopment. Lets up the 1212 does take off….
