Halloween Music for Kristen at the Plaza District
I still can’t get over that Kristen Vails, Main Street director for the Plaza District, one of OKC hippest urban hot spots, can’t come up with a good list Halloween music.

I think that I remember a tune when I was in the 8th grade (in the mid 50s) called Dead which left enough of an impression to still be in my memory, even though I don’t recall anything more about it.
And, of course, one that I do recall with certainty is Endless Sleep by Jody Reynolds …
The night was black, rain fallin’ down
Looked for my baby, she’s nowhere around
Traced her footsteps down to the shore
‘fraid she’s gone forever more
I looked at the sea and it seemed to say
“I took your baby from you away.
I heard a voice cryin’ in the deep
“Come join me, baby, in my endless sleep.
No, I was talking about the one I tried to post here … just tried again … no luck. I mentioned an old tune from high school days named Dead and another, Endless Sleep. The message contained a link to the tune, maybe that’s why it doesn’t appear, I don’t know.
Thanks for the tunes! I did already have quite a few, but finding enough for the whole Ghouls Gone Wild parade was getting tough. I was just looking for songs that would be good to keep people in the mood through the whole parade.
Not so much a slow day, but rather what I’ve got coming out is taking a lot of work to get ready. Figured I’d throw this out in the meantime. Sorry if it wasn’t entertaining enough for you.
As for the spam filter… well, it’s being very aggressive this week.
Here’s mine (I’ve got a playlist for a pre-Ghouls parade party at my house tonight). I’ve got most of the ones Steve mentioned, but thought a few others worked, some for the “tone” of the music, more than the lyrics.

Vampire by the Blakes
Vampire Blues by Neil Young
Dead Souls by Joy Division
