Quite frankly, I don’t care where the Whole Foods is. I will drive from Norman to anywhere to get amazing, quality food.

YOur comment is far off from and a little bit red necked for people that are into health and nutrition. find me one store here in okc that compares to whole foods where I can get the nutrition that my body craves. I have been a vege and eating mostly organic for over 35 years and have just moved here and am starving so far……………

I think all of you are too big box commercial thinkers. You have several great places all around the city providing what a whole foods would owned and operated by people and families in our community. in this same vicinity you have Avalon seafood, Kamps meat market, crescent foods, Beaus wine & Liquour etc. Try getting out and finding these places where you’ll get help with easy recipes & people will remember your name, you dont NEED a Whole Foods!!!!!!!

“Radar” as another Downtowner, I don’t care where it gets placed as long as we finally get a Whole Foods, while downtown would be nice, CC area/Western Ave. area is still in the inner-city core, and where a lot of the hip yuppies that would support this store live.

Nick – you need to open your eyes more outside your bubble, it blinds you from the obvious sometimes. you are brighter than many of your peers but that doesn’t mean you can’t learn from those around you.

Cliff – actually this “rumor” was started over a year ago on OKCTalk and evidence (including inside sources) kept piling up.

Nick, like Steve said if you follow his posts and news stories, he does not base his posts and stories on rumors from a message board. There have been times in the past when he has in fact “pulled us back” from exuberance about something that was being reported as near-fact, or even announced.

If Steve reports it then there can be no doubt he has independent sources that should have correct information.

OK Steve, so this rumor has nothing to do with what people have been saying on OKC Talk for the last 3-4 years? “Oh, this development will get a Whole Foods! No, this development…” and so on.

Because if you’ve followed my train of thought much, you’d have to ask if I’d consider a rumor acknowledged by you as pretty reliable (the answer is yes).

The problem with Classen Curve is it’s too small for a Whole Foods, but it could be added I suppose nearby.
