@Link Wireless is working on installing equipment on the JDM building to provide free WiFi in Bricktown. They will have to have approval from Bricktown Urban Design to install equipment. The process has taken longer than anticipated, but eventually most of Bricktown will be available.
Thanks Steve. This list is necessary and long overdue sadly. I wonder why Downtown OKC Inc. never has compiled a list and put it on their website.
Actually Steven, there is one. If you go to the interactive map and click on the little red icon with the antenna it will pull up all of the locations. I probably need to add a few! Here’s the link http://www.downtownokc.com/supermap/dokcmap.aspx?categoryid=92
I would add whether these wi-fi spots are free or not. Nothing irks me more when businesses charge for wi-fi because I would visit and spend dollars more often if they offered it, gratis!
This is something that needs to happen, as a city we need to be on the cutting edge. If we want to keep young professionals here we need to get there. Business and tech folks want these things. We don’t want to be behind!
