That’s an absolutely beautiful design. Just… wow. It will totally change the look of downtown forever.
For several years, there has been off and on discussion about OKC needing to build something iconic. Something to make OKC standout and be remembered for as people pass through and or visit our city. This incredible structure is iconic in itself. It will be a thing of beauty when completed.
Just have to love how they are showing the Chase and First National buildings as being taller in this “rendering” than they actually are. The Devon building will make the rest of the downtown buildings look like old rundown runts when it’s finished.
I agree, there’s nothing in OKC that stands out, our downtown is pretty bland. It will dwarf the rest of the buildings but hopefully it will ignite future taller buildings to be built. For it’s size, OKC really is underdeveloped for it’s skyscrapers. Is that dream catcher bridge still in the works? There might be several things that people will see as they pass through and remember.
