She should be prosecuted like everyone else. Just because she is an attractive movie star should mean nothing here. Quit thinking with your “little brain”… What are you going to say when someone like Whoopi Goldberg shows up in town and starts putting posters up explaining same sex marriage is the way to go?
Jessica Alba can do whatever she wants. Prosecuting her for this will make everyone look retarded. Movie star attention to the city is *good*.
You guys are kidding, right? Just because she is an actor doesn’t give her the right. I am sick and tired of all you people treating them like they are gods and goddesses. If it were a regular person they would have been charged with vandelism. First of all, she should apologize and then pay the United Way for destroying their poster. And also apologize to her child for being such a moron.
I have always been a supporter of the art of graffiti and other arts that the majority would consider to be “vandalism”. However, I would consider Alba’s posters to be just that. I saw one poster near the Chase bank downtown and didn’t get it. She is not raising awareness by any means. When I saw the poster, all I thought was, “What the hell, hmmmm, that’s random.” I can’t come to appreciate her posters. Especially since she plastered one on my favorite OK buildings, Stage Center. 
I am very much on her side though and love all animals, but I think she could have executed her voice differently. This is why we get a bad rep.

The only reason this is a story at ALL is because she is a movie star. Had any Oklahoman done this, nothing would have happened and I seriously doubt it would even be covered on the news. But since a “movie star” did it and we can prove it, you feel the need to punish them simply because they’re “movie stars.”
Get real people.
Prosecute her. 50 hours of community service cleaning up messes like hers ought to teach her a lesson!
WAKE UP PEOPLE! This woman will not be beautiful in 50 years or even 100. Then what will you say? But those boxes and walls will still be there, covered in ugly sharks. Seriously, with teeth and all! Booo to Jessica, and she was horrible on Boston Public.
I know we’re just a bunch of hicks here in Okieville, but could someone please get her on tape as to why she thinks she had the right to do this??? When did God grant her supioriaty of us low lifes???? I can’t get my little pea picken brain around the idea she thinks she can walk in and do as she pleases and we’re just supposed to say “why thanks Jessica, we just couldn’t have come up with something so brilliant”.???????????
I am all for activism on behalf of wild animals, the environment…, but this was wrong. All she had to do was make contact with our local media as a platform for her crusade and they would have fallen all over themselves to accomidate her. As it is, taxpayer money will have to be used to remove these posters and I am very displeased about that.
I think she should have to clean up the posters herself…with a garden hose and a pail of soapy water on a hot afternoon…very slowly…
Dang…I didn’t know sharks were in season in Oklahoma??? Can someone please tell me the last time a shark was killed at Tenkiller or Texhoma??? Get a grip Ms. Alba
Maybe that was her point. We have killed all the sharks here in OK. So we should be ashamed of ourselves for this bad act we have done. I mean why else would you put the posters up.
For defacing city and private owned property, I HOPE that OKC higher ups do SOMETHING to show her she and ‘ others, i.e. celebs ‘ CANT get away with this CRAPOLA here in OKC or any other city/ town in our great state. Hey Alba…..do ya need the directions to Will Rogers World Airport ??? *hint*
This is a ‘tempest in a teapot’…I hope OkC officials don’t look like hicks on this deal. I also hope she goes to deadCENTER but she should be forced, that’d make us look like retards.
Make her clean all the places up, meaning cleaning, stripping, and painting if all is required. She has the money to hire it done, but the lesson is driven home more if the perpetrator has to do the work.

I think the shark posters are generally okay– meaning the ones on blank walls and utility boxes. But she stepped over the line when she put them on a United Way billboard. For that she should make amends by attending deadCENTER. She should also make amends to United Way by way of a donation to cover the cost of fixing the billboard.
