Thank you, Mr. Kelley! Maybe when common sense is spoken by a conservative, the Legislature will actually listen.
Get a life Mr. Kelley!
Maybe when liberals practice the tolerance and diversity they love to preach they’ll recognize that common sense is the native language of conservatives… Whereas liberals are fluent in emotionalism. (Common sense as a second language, Anne?)
Thanks Mr. Kelley.
I hope that in future elections, the Oklahoman doesn’t give blanket approval to candidates merely because they have a “R” next to their name. The paper’s historical support for all things Republican has been shown to not be in the best interst of our state. It’s issue by issue and candidate by candidate, regardless of party affliation, that moves us forward.
The State House authors and sponsors of the provential and extreme proposals to which Mr. Kelley refers need to be voted out of office asap. I hope we can count on his vigorous help in doing so.
Posting the 10 Commandments is extreme? (“THRUSING a monument.”) Asking citizens to learn English is extreme? So: it’s perfectly acceptable to offend the majority, but not the minority? Sounds like your logic has run amuck… Where is YOUR tolerance of the majority? (Incidentally, relative to the majority of America, Oklahoma IS provincial!)
Well, that does it.
Just when I thought I had an idea of who Ed Kelley is, he goes and proves me wrong. With this video, he was hitting on all cylinders, didn’t miss a beat, didn’t mince words, and he got it 100% correct.
I just found myself a new Oklahoma Hero!
I’m going to take your lead, Steve, and do a brief blog post myself. This is just too good not to be shared. Plus, I’ll embed “Do You Realize” it it. I’ll get to work right now.
I can’t believe it. Twice in one month Ed Kelley is championing my point of view against the extremists at the State House!
This morning, this story actualy made the a.p. and then was on the front page of yahoo.com. the world can start laughing at oklahoma now. it’s a song and a band. how could a great lips song cause the legislature to turn this down, because of a t shirt… so what is the legislature going to do to the school of rock in bricktown? can they ban that from oklahoma?

Maybe the reason Mr. Kelley’s comparison of communism and Obama is so hilarious is because there is a hint of truth in it?
Sorry, Steve, I couldn’t help myself from the obvious joke. Please don’t banish me.
