After reading today’s story about Sage (with excellent photos by Bryan Terry), you might be interested in learning more about Deep Deuce. Doug Loudenback has an incredible web site, and he has what I agree is the definitive online history of the area.

Fabulous, isn’t it? I stayed up late last night trying to figure how all the pieces fit together. I hope he makes a book out of it.

Whoa! Two great comments by two of the biggie OKC history hitters! Lackmeyer & Chaz! Thanks so much, Steve & Charles! Now, if I could just learn MORE about the REAL history … the people stuff. THAT would be the good story. Maybe I’ll get there some day.
