I was at the ULI event but it was to croweded. how can i get a hold of the full presentation for the ULI and the city counsel. I would like to have them for my Architecture Studio to watch.

Matthew, I just emailed you.

The best Speck video thus far. I hope this doesn’t fall on deaf ears at City Hall, but they actually work deligently on a plan to start acting upon these recommendations soon!

I like how Mr. Speck addresses the psychological issues related to walkability. He reminds us of the primitive needs for aesthetics, comfort, and safety as it relates to urban design and planning. I think this is the core issue of why the suburbs are not cutting it. People are tired of hiding behind their cars, garages, and acreages. Community is the buzz-word of the decade.

Hmm.

Steve. How much of the actual presentation is not shown by these three videos? I’d like to see the presentation in its entirety. And I agree with Matthew up there. It was crowded. But then I took that as a good sign. ;)
