I'm originally from New York (my family moved here when I was 12). During my senior year in college I went back for the summer and could have pursued a career at one of the New York papers.
I chose to come back here (I'll also admit my experience with New York print journalism was quite comical). New York is a great place to visit - but there are many subtle reasons that make for a better quality of life in Oklahoma City that you can't always fully appreciate unless you leave it.

Watching videos like this makes me wonder why I still live in Oklahoma City. I remember visiting Bryant Park a couple of years ago. It was one of my most memorable experiences in New York. There's just something about the trees and grass situated in the midst of all of the hustle and bustle. Maybe one day downtown OKC can actually be a place where people stop and stay awhile.
