Kevin, this blog actually is very interested in your experiences as a visitor, especially in regards to public transit. Please tell us more about your visit. If you have any photos to share, you can email me at slackmeyer@oklahoman.com.

As for the William Whyte post, that one will follow in about four hours. This urban planning series is actually a special run for this blog. Usually it delves more into local innercity development issues, background and discussions.

This is a thoughtful and worthy site, and I am glad I came across it.Could you tell us about the William H. Whyte session? There is a good anthology of his writings out there. (Secondly, my wife and I were in your city for the ACDA, and while people were very friendly, I have to say the city is not conventioneer friendly--beginning with what was in my view poor transportation options for those w/o cars. I had a tough time getting to the Cowboy Museum; and felt stranded at the stockyards area--no trolley came for us. But this blog is not for that perhaps as this is properly about downtown)I appreciate your urban studies focus here.
