Doug is doing what I'd expect from a very, very good friend. And yes, it's no secret the Lost Ogle does go too far at times. I just figured this to be a good laugh to start off the day - and don't we all need a good laugh these days?
:)

Final note: A concept that seems to elude the Lost Ogle brothers is the fact that I cover downtown as a beat - it's my job to exhaustively cover what's going on downtown. It's like making fun of Darnell Mayberry for always writing and talking about the Thunder. But again, it's mostly been all in jest, and I'm ok w/ that.

Doug, the graphic is actually one I did to poke fun at the Ogles. Really, it's all about not taking yourself too seriously.

The Lost Ogle, while very often very clever, has a tendency to get caught up with itself as being oh-so-clever and above the rest. It is an arrogant perspective, "we know better than you" and is void of humility. In the post you linked, it was said there, "When you control the news, you control information. And nobody controls the news of Downtown Oklahoma City better than Oklahoman reporter Steve Lackmeyer. ¶ Granted, that’s not totally a good thing. Steve is almost too obsessed with Downtown. When he goes to bed each night, I bet he wears Bricktown pajamas and dreams of running naked through the Myriad Gardens with a young Robert S. Kerr. He also probably builds replica models of the new Devon Tower using his kids’ Legos."

Pretty classy stuff, eh? Not. Not even close to being worthy. It's trash talk from one Oklahoma City blog about another. For what reason? You figure out your own answer.

The graphic of you that they did sort of reminds me of the time that Patrick (one of the former HornetsCentral board owners and now a Lost Ogle owner), removed an immodest image of me ... if pressed, I'll be more explicit ... the scurrilous graphic was removed by Patrick at the time. As long as their Photoshop graphic does not involve sexual content, but who can say what might be next, it seems that the Ogles have no regard for restraint or civility ... cheap shots at anyone is fair game.

Maybe when these guys actually do something beneficial to/for Oklahoma City, I will will see their blog differently. That time has not yet come.

Query: What kind of pajamas does Patrick wear when HE goes to bed? And where does HE run naked? In context, these are fair even if idiotic questions to ask. As if anyone cared.
