You got that right about the Skirvin lobby smelling like gingerbread and chocolate. My wife and I took our 5 year-old son and 4-year old granddaughter (long story) exploring the “underground tunnels” right before Christmas. We told them we were searching for a “secret gingerbread house”. We wandered through the underground for a little bit, then took the “secret tunnel” to the basement of the Skirvin, then up the elevator to the lobby. You should have seen the look on their faces when they saw that gingerbread house – classic.

Good choices, I probably would have had the NBA visit a little higher.
Hey, I saw a “for lease” banner in the remodeled building on the corner of Walker and 11th, that was supposed to be a sushi restaurant owned by the same folks downtown at Harvey Place. I take it that those plans are now off. Know anything about it?
