Hello guys!

Cru Jones here, president of the Oklahoma Film & Education Foundation.

Exciting stuff indeed. It took 7 months, from last January till July. OFEF is a Non-Profit 501c3 private charity foundation, FINALLY :)

We have spent the last 6 months doing a fundraising campaign with no luck just yet.

We are excited for what the new year brings us.Its time to start filling out grant requests and start looking for free and charitable donations. If anyone is reading this and is interested in helping, please contact us. We are interested in hearing from you even if you have a suggestion on where to look. Check out our site, we have great plans to help with the push in the Film district downtown.

Any and ALL help would be greatly appreciated.

For those interested, we have a website you can view at the following address:

http://www.scriptfolio.net/Film.html

We will be relocating it soon to a new web address. But for now you can look at past articles in our newsletters and see a lot of photos. It is still a little new so I am updating it often. In fact, now I have to include this great blog area too!

We will be having a meeting with the city regarding the Film Row streetscape after the first of the year. While funding is in place via TIF and G.O. bond funds and 90% design/engineering documents have been submitted, the scope of Devon's project has slowed things down while they look at the bigger picture (infrastructure improvements, downtown streetscape at large, etc) and how it may impact this streetscape...all very positive actually I think. I will update you again after the meeting in January and should know quite a bit more.
