I'm not sure that public restrooms located 1/4 mile from 99.9% of Bricktown's pedestrian traffic is really an amenity for Bricktown.

Additionally, if the station only serves the area to the east, it would run counter to what Bricktown merchants were told some months ago in a meeting with the fire department and public works. At the time, public officials said that for calls to the west of the station during Bricktown's heavy traffic times, the vehicles would take alternate response routes, perhaps through Deep Deuce.

If the station only serves the area to the east of the station, why not build east of there instead of in Bricktown? However, I guess that particular decision was made long ago.

Is it not true that this station would serve the area to the east, and thus not have engines heading west on Sheridan?

Also, is it true that the building is set to include public restrooms?
