It's hard to tell about the Braum's sponsorship. They could be cutting expenses in anticipation of an economic downturn. Maybe they could not get a favorable new contract.

This also makes me wonder why it seems to always be the "usual suspects" with local sponsorships (Devon, Chesapeake, OPUBCO, Sand Ridge, etc.). Where is Dell, St. Anthony, Express, Integris, Hudiburg, BOK, IBC Bank, Love's, Pizza Hut, and others?

Second the consumerism at its worst. On another note, I'm annoyed that all of the opening events are taking place this weekend; the tree lighting and boat parade specifically. Many people are probably out-of-town (like myself), and therefore cannot enjoy the festivities. My wife were enjoying making the boat parade a tradition... even though it's tough to do since it's been on different weekends every time.
