The Web: Where Anyone Can Say Anything

Today’s evidence – a posting on the story today about the Harley-Davidson owners group having their worldwide rally in Bricktown next year:

Interesting, considering that Bricktown has been pretty clear about not wanting bikers in and around the area. Llike always it’s about the almighty dollar.

Interesting, considering Bricktown has hosted at least a dozen motorcyle festivals the past few years and has dozens of parking spaces reserved for motorcycles.

Maybe K was one of the people ticketed for parking on the sidewalk in front of the ballpark, and is therefore jilted.

The comment that irritated me was the one from Chris. A good number of members of HOG are Doctors, lawyers, bankers, ect.
With the average cost of a Harley at 25-30k , they aren’t bums that need a mobile dental clinic.

Agree with Skye, Harleys, like tickets to NBA/NFL/Concert tickets and many other things have been priced out of reach for the people who have supported them for decades.

Humble Opinion.
