More Images of the SkyDance Bridge
You win some, you lose some. Sadly, I was unable to get all the images into the paper that I wish I could have – so here they are without any further delay. Above, Stan Carroll and Hans Butzer, lead designers of the proposed “SkyDance Bridge” being considered today by the city council.
The SkyDance Bridge will connect two proposed parks in Core to Shore.
At night.

Hey Steve. I’m going to try and be in OKC this weekend.. Fri-Sat-Sun so maybe we can meet up and have lunch some time. Let me know what you think. I remember you’d wanted to meet up and do something.

Would be something that could symbolize OKC in the region. Give us something cutting edge and show we have a taste for art as well. Would be great to see this come into reality.
Eventhough the exact original design is not what we got, anybody who thought we would is damaged, it is still a fantastic sight and emblem for OKC.

Wow, that’s gorgeous. I had no idea the city was considering anything like that. It reminds me a lot of the new pedestrian bridge here in Minneapolis that they just opened last year. It’s still breathtaking every time I cross it. I linked my name to a picture of it.
