Living at the Downtown Library
David Morris at NewsOk.tv has an interesting update on the Carnegie Library project. To recap, Judy Hatfield bought the old downtown library when the new Ronald J. Norick Downtown Library opened a few years ago. And it sounds like she’s getting very close to starting up conversion of the building into retail and condominiums.

It’s great that she’s including SOME parking. But did I hear what she said correctly about the parking space being 1 car per condo? Since when does a married couple who would have the bucks to buy a pricey (I assume) condo have only one car?
good point doug … also these will be the most expensive places so far down town .. and you buy them unfinished .. not sure the market can support them
Good points Jack and Doug. Judy is a neat Realtor, but hopefully not in over her head with this one. The highest price points so far downtown per sq. ft and only one parking space? Not to mention some of the other developments have a neater location or better amenities. Will be interesting to watch and see what happens.

She seems like a neat developer! I hope we see more of her when this is done.
