Am I the only person that doesn’t want it to be *too* tall? Based on some of the comments in other forums, some folks want Devon to shoot for the sky. I don’t want a monolith that will dwarf our current skyline. Can’t wait to see what happens!

I agree with Reggie. I really don’t care if it is taller than Tulsa’s tallest or not. I’d rather see an attractive building with good urban design (ground floor retail, smaller setback, etc.) than the tallest in the city or state. Although I do believe that tall buildings look impressive, they usually just look like status symbols that too often trade size for design, and often don’t fit with their surroundings too well. Take the current tallest in OKC (can’t remember the name right now); it’s pretty bland looking, and it’s large setback and lack of retail ensures that there will be no activity after hours.
One thing I’m curious about Steve; in the last bond package, there was a plan to extend Harvey Ave. south to Sheridan. Is this still in the city’s plans?
