Good news: WordPress has an incredible spam filter that has had a 100 percent success rate. You’ve been spared hundreds of really stupid comments all aimed soley at drawing you to web sites that want to grab your money, legally or illegally.
Bad news: some of you have been innocent victims of this spam filter. In a bit of irony, I’ve gotten caught up a couple of times myself.
Good news: I’m checking the filter daily. If your comment disappears, wait a few hours for me to clear the filter. Also, don’t hesitate to contact me at slackmeyer@oklahoman.com.
Your participation in this blog is critical to its success, and for the past three months it has been in the top five of the NewsOk blogs. For the past several weeks, it has ranked either second or third (it’s hard to be the Nerd guy or those folks talking about American Idol).
