I don't think that the Chamber project is going to be very closely aligned with the Devon project. You have to remember that Larry Nichols, while being Chairman of the Chamber Board right now (the Chamber's #1 man) that also influential on the Chamber Board of Directors is Aubrey McClendon, essentially Nichols' arch nemesis. Watch the two, they are desperate to one up the other. Nichols is building a tower that will be among the tallest in the world (air of sarcasm) so Aubrey has to go and build an entire damned city. Nichols serves a term as Chairman of the Chamber Board, so Aubrey has to go and buy his own NBA team practically so that he's not forgotten about. Not to mention competition between the two for new employees since both own rapidly expanding Fortune 500 energy corporations.

Very nice. Inspired as well - I like it. If this is design that Larry Nichols approved of, I wonder if this will provide clues to how the new Devon Energy tower renderings may appear?

I know they're completely unrelated architectural firms doing the design and all, but still - I would be impressed if those who will shape our downtown skyline of the future are putting forethought into how these projects may tie into one another in terms of style and over all effect.
