Chesapeake: Nichols Hills Plaza is not for sale
Rumors that NicholsHills Plaza is for sale are false, according to Chesapeake Energy Corp. spokesman Jim Gipson.
Chesapeake Land Development Co. continues to list the property’s retail and office space for lease at www.chesapeakelanddevelopmentcompany.com.
In the past week or so, at least one local blogger and a widely followed discussion board passed along the rumor that the property was for sale.
Chesapeake bought Nichols Hills Plaza in January 2006, paying $27.5 million cash, or $215 per square foot for the 128,000-square-foot retail-office center.
