2010 National Jamboree – Washington D.C. – Days 3-5
After the long bus ride to Washington we meet our tour guide Joe. Joe was intent on getting us every where but unfortunetly at the price of time spent in the attraction. Although It was quickly we saw alot of the things that Washington has to offer like:
- The Capital
- Washington Monument
- Linclon Memorial
- Jefferson Memorial
- The Smithsonian
- The White House
- The Internatonal Spy Museum
- The Hard Rock Cafe
- Ford’s Theater
- and much more
Now that people have started to calm down things are becoming enjoyable infact here is a quote that preety well sums up the mood of the trip so far.
I’ve caffed so much that you could put a Turkey between my legs and it would cook.
Braden Croslin – Pedro Patrol

2010 National Jamboree – Philadelphia Tour – Days 1-2
Day 1:
After wakeing up at 3:00 am we slowly made our way to the airport where we meet up with a group of just as tired and grumpy boy scout who were unlucky enough to get the first flight. After we went through security we boarded the plane for a fairly uneventful trip. When we arived in Pilly we instantly got on a bus and were off. I like most of our scout probibly did forgot something, unfortunetly I forgot extra batteries for my camera. When we got to the Constiution Center we meet our tour guide Ellen. Although she may look a bit elderly that lady could walk, she had 90 pecent of us practicly running to catch up. Since we were the first to atrive we got a tour the first day but it was rather short tour. After a long day of flight we made our way to the hotel and promtly crashed.
Day 2:
We woke up and went down stairs to eat breakfest. There we meet the other half of our troop and got in the bus for the days touring. This is the day that we go to see all the highlightslike:
- Independence Hall
- The Liberty Bell
- Ben Franklin Museum
- And many many more
After touring and eating a famous cheese stake we made our way to the hotel for the night.
Thats it for Philly and now off to Washington D.C.
