It saddens me to see a locally-owned business close and leave only the big chain video stores. There was always a more pleasant atmosphere in the Randy's stores than the others. I have enjoyed many hours browsing video tapes, laserdiscs, dvds and cds there. Since we moved to Tulsa in 07, my wife and I enjoyed stopping in Randy's during visits to Edmond. They will be missed.

Randy was in my class. He used to dive out of the window of Mrs. Bert's algebra class to run up to the Statesman to order lunch for our group. One day he told me he didn't have a middle name, so I gave him one: Pink.

We had some laughs with him, you can believe we did.

I was just driving by last week in Edmond remembering spending many a weekend night picking out movies! M & M's has played a huge role in many lives for youth growing up in Edmond in the 80's. With landmarks such as Johnnies, City Bites, McClaren's & M & M's it was a different town with only one high school and our main street drag of McDonald's. Edmond has greatly changed, but the wonderful memories of growing up in a beautiful town with precious people & places will continue to linger in ALL our memories...
