With Jack Black and Michael Cera as ancient hunters. Looks to be lots of people I like in this, but is it a worthwhile two-hour movie, or a 15-minute skit stretched out to 2 hours? We’ll see.
Super Bowl trailer for “Fast & Furious”
Here’s the Super Bowl trailer for “Fast & Furious,” with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker. It sort of amazes me that there will now be four of these movies. If I’m remembering right, this is the first film since the first in the series with both Diesel and Walker.

The Super Bowl trailer for Up, from Disney/Pixar. I think this is only a little different from what has been seen before. Pixar’s reputation for quality has more to do with the buzz on this one than anything they’ll show tonight, I think.

Super Bowl spot for “Land of the Lost”
OK, a couple things: Land of the Lost scared the crap out of me as a kid. I realize now it wasn’t probably scary, but I would have preferred to see somebody make it an actual adventure film. However, I often like Will Ferrell – obviously, Anchorman, Old School, and in some other things as well. That said, the trailer here doesn’t sell me on this one. Thoughts?
G.I. Joe Super Bowl spot at Comingsoon.net
Paramount has provided Comingsoon.net with an early look at the G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra Super Bowl trailer. It’s intriguing enough that I want to see more, though it doesn’t give a lot away. And Christopher Eccleston, looking forward to that! Feel free to go look at it, then come back and share your thoughts.
