Superhero Hype shares a look at the latest poster for the film “Punisher War Zone.” The film is scheduled to open Dec. 5, and star Ray Stevenson as the Punisher. This poster was designed by Tim Bradstreet.

SAN DIEGO — “Punisher” fans had a chance on Thursday to look as if they were shot by the man himself. At the Marvel booth, makeup artists applied bullet wounds to the interested throughout the day. Also on hand was the stunt double for The Punisher, taking photos with fans in full “Punisher” gear.

UGO.com has the teaser poster for this winter’s “Punisher War Zone.”
Starring Ray Stevenson (HBO’s “Rome”) as The Punisher, “Punisher: War Zone” is directed by Lexi Alexander and produced by Gale Anne Hurd. The film is set for a Dec. 5 release.

Director Lexi Alexander notes on her blog that the release date for “Punisher War Zone” has been moved to Dec. 5. She says she’s assured that December is a better release date.
