Yahoo! Movies has the latest trailer for the James Bond film “Quantum of Solace,” starring Daniel Craig.  The film is set for a Nov. 14 release.

“Quantum of Solace,” the new James Bond film starring Daniel Craig, has moved its release date.  The studio has moved the opening from Nov. 7 to the new date of Nov. 14.

Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, producers of the highly anticipated 22nd James Bond adventure “Quantum of Solace,” announced today that multi-Grammy Award-winning and platinum selling recording artists Jack White of the rock band The White Stripes, and Alicia Keys, have recorded the theme song for the film, which will be released worldwide this November.

Their song, written and produced by Jack White, and titled “Another Way to Die,” will be the first duet in Bond soundtrack history. In addition to writing the song, Jack White is also featured as the drummer on this track. The soundtrack to “Quantum of Solace” will be released by J Records on October 28, 2008.

Daniel Craig reprises his role as Ian Fleming’s James Bond 007 in “Quantum of Solace,” the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures/Columbia Pictures release of EON Productions’ 22nd adventure in the longest-running film franchise in motion picture history. The film is directed by Marc Forster. The screenplay is by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade as well as Paul Haggis and the film’s score will be composed by David Arnold.  Wilson and Broccoli said: “We are delighted and pleased to have two such exciting artists as Jack and Alicia, who were inspired by our film to join together their extraordinary talents in creating a unique sound for Quantum of Solace.” 


First Look: Bond 22

Moviefone has the first look at the “Quantum of Solace” movie poster, and some of the first footage in a behind-the-scenes look at the film.

While “Quantum of Solace” takes its name from an Ian Fleming short story, the film is said to go an entirely different direction from that story, picking up just minutes after the conclusion of the film “Casino Royale.”

The film, directed by Marc Forster, is set for a November release.

‘Bond 22′ begins principal photography

After the amazing reinvention of James Bond that took place in ”Casino Royale,” Daniel Craig returns to the role for ”Bond 22,” (working title), which began principal photography today.

CULVER CITY, Calif., Monday 07 January 2008 – Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions Ltd, Sony Pictures Entertainment and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios announced today the start of principal photography on the eagerly anticipated 22nd James Bond adventure.  Daniel Craig reprises his role as 007 in the film which is directed by Marc Forster and follows the success of CASINO ROYALE, the latest and highest grossing film in the series.

Starring alongside Craig is an impressive international cast led by the critically acclaimed French actor Mathieu Amalric as the sinister villain, and the Ukranian actress Olga Kurylenko who plays 007’s leading lady.

Returning to Bond 22 (working title) from CASINO ROYALE are Judi Dench in her role as M, Jeffrey Wright as Felix Leiter and Giancarlo Giannini as Mathis. Newcomer to the Bond franchise, Gemma Arterton, will play the role of MI6 Agent Fields.

Commenting on the announcement, Wilson and Broccoli said “We are fortunate to continue in the Bond tradition of attracting the finest international actors for our starring roles. Mathieu in the role of Dominic Greene, a leading member of the villainous organization introduced in CASINO ROYALE, will be a powerful counterpart to Daniel’s portrayal of Bond. Olga Kurylenko will play the dangerously alluring Camille, who challenges Bond and helps him come to terms with the emotional consequences of Vesper’s betrayal.”

MGM and Sony Pictures will share distribution rights worldwide with Columbia Pictures and Sony Pictures Releasing International distributing the film to theaters worldwide on November 7th, 2008. Marc Forster directs the screenplay by Neal Purvis & Robert Wade and Paul Haggis. The unit includes Production Designer Dennis Gassner, Director of Photography Roberto Schaefer, Editors Matt Chesse and Rick Pearson, and  2nd Unit Director Dan Bradley.
