What can I say other than about time? Yes a kiss between both characters happened before, but an actual relationship becoming the result was never done before by DC. Now, we’re talking about a new status quo for both characters.

Long time DC fan here and I’m happy about the change. After a while Superman and Lois became as interesting as watching a turtle go across a football field. I like this new idea by DC and I’m sure there are many others who share that same sentiment. I see fans falling into maybe four categories when it comes to this new pairing: 1) Those favoring the Supe/Wondie pairing, 2) Those who are curious as to where this would lead, 3) Those excited for the change (that’s where I am), and 4) Those so devoted to Superman with Lois that they cannot accept change.

DC, know that there are many fans who stand by your decision and will continue with you on this new and exciting journey.

Superman was selling pityifully before the reboot .ie when he was married. That is why DC rebooted. His marriage to Lois might as well be a nonentity for all those who even cared to READ about it. Imagine pre-reboot the Super books fell to below 40, 000 people preordeing that title on a monthly basis around the whole of the US. The only time he got a spike was in a cross over that had nothing to do with Lois. While Batman, Green Lantern and even Aquaman were beating him in sales. Batman has over 10 titles. Superman 2. That says it for posterity. Horrific numbers for the Man of Steel but it reflected how new readers nor even general ones did not care for him and his boring snozefest of a status quo. They have every right to try to update and tell new stories. And thank god for Justice League because there are some people who won’t even buy a Superman book but like reading him in JL .

To bad it’s an incredibly boring couple, seriously, snore and hopefully they don’t lean to much on it and ruin what could be a good title. If they use it as a crutch and focus to much of the book on it it won’t work out well, might spike sales for a few months but that’s it.
