He now owns that role. Wonderful movie. I am so lucky that I went to see it in IMAX, even though I had no idea what the movie was about due to poor marketing. I took a chance and became a fan of the movie and of Edgar Rice Burroughs Princess of Mars written in 1912 and published in book form in 1917. Who Knew? Certainly not me. So give yourself a treat and give John Carter a chance

At the very least, why not have an ABC special prior to the film’s release detailing the influence of Edgar Rice Burroughs?

Director Andrew Stanton and script writer Michael Chabon–as well as the cast and crew– delivered terrific entertainment with “John Carter.”

And Lynn Collins is really hot. I hope Disney can get past this and do some sequels.
