I started reading Marvel comics back when they first created the FF and the Hulk and when Marvel Thor appeared in the JIM of August 1962. Also I remember the very first Avengers comic.

Of course so many different heros have graced the Avengers ranks at various times. I was pleased to see that the movie almost kept to the original membership – but not quite.

In some ways I think the Avengers/Defenders clash and that incredible battle bewteen Thor and the Hulk was my favourite.
