I think the first Spidey still looks pretty good 10 years out. I think now they are paying a little more attention to detail on some of these things, as far as the story. So that way, even if the effects get dated, you still have a story that holds up.

They were pretty bad, but in a way that made them fun to watch. I really liked the familiar 80s TV series vibe. Reminded me of the many Simon and Simon, Fall Guy, and Scarecrow and Mrs. King episodes I watched back in the day.

The live-action “Spider-man” show was no peach either, but I still tuned in every time. Sigh.

Considering how cheesy these films are now, will the better comic book movies of today still hold up 30 years from now?
