I loved the finale. I especially liked the Lex-Clark stuff and loved the Clark-Jonathan stuff. I didn't like how Clark just pushed the planet off into space but other than that it was a great ending to a show that got stronger over the years.

I only got to see part of it, but seeing Michael Rosenbaum as Lex again will be great. I think the father-son connection between Tom Welling and John Schneider were some of my favorite scenes of the series. The last couple of minutes of the show were absolutely a great ending for the series. I look forward to sitting down and watching all ten seasons together.

For me, this was one of the best series on television. Throughout the series, the creators and writers stuck to their goal of developing and exploring the characters of Smallville and stayed away from "tights and flights", as they put it.

I really enjoyed the finale. The first "glimpse" of superman in the air showing only small pieces of Superman's costume was masterful. I did feel, however, Clark's first visible transformation from Clark Kent to Superman at the end of the program, was a bit overdone and cheesy. It looked too staged. There should have been a more focused and deliberate transformation. But that is being very picky to an overall outstanding program and series.

I liked the tie-in to the movie as well. I just hope future Clark Kent movie characters stay away from the "bumbling fools" that has characterized the role in movies. In the 1950's Superman TV series, George Reeves proved you can pull off being meek and mild-mannered without being a bumbling idiot. Tom Welling is the best Clark Kent since George Reeves.

I hope this Smallville cast makes it to the big screen.
