I don’t want anyone to take this wrong but Superman is not British. Aren’t there tons of American Actors looking for a shot. The super hero movies are getting worse anyway (expect the Dark Knight). Stop remaking movies that have already been with sucess. The last Superman movie was wack and after Superman II with Christopher Revee they all went down hill from there.

I am so excited to see Henry Cavill as ‘Superman’. Check him out on ‘The Tudor’s’. I know he will do well. But, I admit I would see him for the eye-candy alone. What a work of art!

I rather see Tom Welling don the cape… or Routh again (even tho I really didn’t like Singers version of the costume)..

Love Tom Welling but KNEW it could never happen. The fans and young women are just reacting badly to the moment. They had their hearts set on something and it didn’t happen. Once they get over this moment and the heartbreak, really think they will come to embrace this movie. Cavill is nice looking, even if he isn’t EXACTLY what they wanted. Snyder will deliver the action. Nolan will deliver the story. This film can not fail. It will be awesome.

I would be just as excited to see the Nic Cage version of Superman. We will wait and see if they come out with some more details about the story before I get on board. Of course I will see it, but my expectations are low right now.

All the marketing trolls and actors and their enemy governments in all the world won’t make this anything America will watch, like or love. This franchise is dead. This comic character is dead. Someday, it will be revived without the enemy hate thrown at America by such a wicked, witless and sexless enemy.

Looks like a good choice for the role. But you could genetically clone Christopher Reeve and still have a stinker of a movie if they muck with the story. Let’s hope the producers don’t try to to top down that part, and we should be in a for a great ride.

This franchise is hungry for greatness! This is the time to rebuild the franchise. They better not include Lex Luthor or General Zod in any Superman movies for a while. They should utilise the villains that weren’t included in the previous films such as Bizarro, Brainiac, Doomsday, Metallo, Toyman, Darkseid, Atomic Skull, Bloodsport, Bruno Mannheim, Conduit, Cyborg Superman, Faora, Gog, Imperiex, Intergang, Jax-Ur, Kryptonite Man, Livewire, Mala, Mercy Graves, Mongul, Morgan Edge, Mr. Mxyzptlk, Parasite, Prankster, Sam Lane, Silver Banshee, Solaris, Superboy-Prime, Superman Revenge Squad, Terra-Man, Titano, Ultra-Humanite, Ultraman. This is a second chance to get it right. This is an opportunity.
