This show is BS. The chick is biased. This big guy is kinda dumb. And the closet gay dude is a denial freak. And of course the nerdy bald guy chooses his reasoning with biased and unproven methods. These people are not scientific in their investigations and do not do provide thorough investigations. Most of their conclusions are based on third party verbal accounts and not physical evidence. Brad Meltzer almost seems to be an apologist or front man for the government and secret societies. There is more physical evidence on most of these subjects than what they actually put on the show. I especially like the Georgia Guidstones episode where the NEO Hippie shows us a map of safe zones within the United States. What is the theory behind the map? It did not look like it was made by a Geologist. But you take in that silly map as evidence without explaining. And then other guests will actually have thorough explanations and you throw them out because of Brad's opinions that are solely based on reasoning? I can go on and on but it's not worth my time.

I do not like this show Decoded. I am a historian, and I love to get down to the truth about things; so this is not a dis-like for the show, but a strong dis-like for the way this shows comes up with its conclusions. The show is suppose to be getting down to the truth about these American conspiracies; but in all reality the show has not uncovered or decoded anything. Now don't get me wrong, I watch the show; I keep giving it chances but every time I watch it, I dis-like it more and more. One of the reasons for that is Christine McKinley, she is a very bias on every episode I have watched. The very first show was the episode on the Masons and the missing cornerstone, in this episode her whole conclusion was based on the fact that her dad was a Mason, and she couldn't believe that her dad would be involved with a bunch of people who would do something like that. All through the episode she kept saying " I find it hard to believe that MY DAD would be involved with these kinds of people". News FLASH!!!!!! If it was my dad I'd have a hard time believing it to. In every episode she has a bias opinion, like the one about John W. Booth, where there was applicable evidence showing the man in that photo was in fact John W. Booth. No matter how much evidence came up, she stuck to her beliefs, and thats not a investigator. Investigators gather all evidents and then make a logical conclusion about what they have. And what qualify her for the show any way? What, cause she a mechanical engineer who relies on facts and clear evidence in every situation? No, cause when the evidence is shown she relies on the lies that she grew up believing. I love Buddy and Scott on the show though, they collect the evidents first; then make a conclusion, but in all of that; they'll get so far into the investigation and stop, right when they start to get deep into the conspiracy. I would like to see them get rid of all the bias opinions and work with nothing but the evidence.

I leave you with a question, If you refuse to look at the fact/ truth of the situation because of you beliefs, does that not in fact make you a conspirator? Because in all reality, your helping to keep the Lie and Conspiracy alive.

Dear Mr. Meltzer:

If we hadn't seen your History Channel show: Lincoln's Assasination, we would never have recalled this "legend."

Many years ago, we moved to Vermont, our new home.

We soon became friendly with our neighbors and locals who, over time, had some fascinating stories to share with us.

One, for example, was about Robert Todd Lincoln, who had a summer home in Manchester, Vermont, the town where we had moved to.

The Lincolns, Mr. and Mrs., spent their summers there, until his death in 1926.

During the summer months, Mr. Lincoln hired some of his neighbors, many of them young lads, who lived across the road from him, in that part of Manchester Village.

He would generously compensate them when they worked for him, around his estate, and also ran errands.

Many's the time he had several grade school and high school students helping during their Summer vacation.

One day, towards the end of the Summer season, when Mr. and Mrs. Lincoln were preparing to leave, Mr. Lincoln, his Secretary, and a youngster from across the road, were in Hildlene's library/office, gathering bundles of letters, official papers, ledgers, documents, and like that, from Abraham Lincoln's years as President.

According to the young helper, when the last of the bundles were tossed into the fireplace, and quickly burned into ashes, Mr. Lincoln told his Secretary that he was relieved that they finally destroyed evidence that his father was murdered by a conspiracy of his Cabinet members and politicians.

Since many of those conspirators had passed on, years ago, he felt there really was no point, at this late date (192?), in condemning them and tarnishing their image, when they couldn't defend themselves. Let them rest in peace!

Why are we sharing this eye-witness's account with you?

That youngster grew up and had a family some years ago but, was able to pass this story on to his family, and their descendants who, today, live in the same house, across the road from Hildene.

We moved from Vermont to Colorado in 1997, but keep in touch with our Vermont neighbors and friends. Neighbors and friends who are much older than when we first met them in 1970, but are as sharp as a tack when it comes names, dates, and events from that Lincoln/Hildene era.

If you want to pursue this further, the other day, two of our Vermont contacts gave us permission to pass along their names and phone numbers for your follow-up.

In the meantime, you have our e-mail address: teamdebus@webtv.net.

Good Luck with your fascinating show!

Sincerely,
Mr. and Mrs. John Debus,

If Decoded was really wanting to decode something there is plenty to decode. Start like I did when I became disabled a few years ago and found myself with more free time on my hands than ever before in all my sixtie years.
I first started with a rather simple question one nite to a friend who is a retired Exutive of a large world wide tech firm he helped found with a long time friend. As I said an simple question to a well educated, experinced, man of the world would be answered with a simple, short answer.
WRONG---. It just opened more and more questions that after better than three years latter I feel I have just scratched the surfaec. My question was, What is with the Gold Fringe around the American Flag. Did I miss something or what?
Being a working stiff all my life working lots of seven day weeks and six day weeks and driveing for a liveing I had to get my sleep when I was home and no time to think about such things. Like most folks if it didn't block my path through life I never gave it a thought. Well seems to mean we are involed in what is Admerility Law of the Seas and the world. What the heck dose that mean? Look at your Driveing Lincense and notice your name is all in capital letters. Look at your birth certifict , all caoital letters., your sicial security card, capital letters.People say that dosen't mean a thing.Just a few things to get you going on questioning what is going on around us. Why is there a large block of stone under the Throne of the Queen of England? It is called the Jacob stone. Why were the Vikings called the Vikings? Because the were six of the tribes of Isreal. Thus VI- Kings---6kings. What took place on Jeckel Island off the coast of Georgia in 1910? That is where a meeting of the most rich, infulenchle, powerfull men in the world laid the plans for what we today call the Fedreal Reserve. One of the men was Rathochild and he was knowen to allways say " Don't matter who or what runs a country aslong as I control the money. It took till 1913 but the Fedreal Reserve was formed and soon there after all US dollars no longer say US Dollar but Fedreal Reserve Note. The Alumeniti,Masons, Skull and Bones, Trilateral Commision, Bildaburggers Group, and the list goes on and on.
I think I should mention that I have just an eighth grade
education and am what you might call world taught in the school of hard knox as the say. I tell you this for 2
reasons. Mainely cause if I with my limmited schooling can see it and question it,surley smart people like Brad M. can
Find plenty to decode,if in fact he is there to decode or
just planted there to mislead, misinform, and detract from
what has become so easy to see for everybody. Secondly I
tell you of my lack of Schooling so as to save everybody
from commiting on my lack of Spelling ability. Like I
said,I got bye so far in life misspelling words but till the internet, nobody ever commented on the fact. Then again
all I ever had to fillout was a logbook and ladeing bills.
But yes it is a ton of fun looking up these things and
always have one leed to another. What ever happened to
Nikola Tesla's sientific papers when he died? He had invented a way to make free energy from static electricty in the air, and he proved it would work.As soon as he died his work papers and notes were all gone. Where did they
go and who has them today?
I could go one forever and most likely will. But get my point. They send out a lot of things like Brads show to distract and befuddle the comin man. I like that cause it means we are getting close, real close.

Why would you waste my entire night attempting to DECODE where the corner stone of the white house and capital building are if you didn't find it. Why would you call the show Decoded? Fact is you didn't Decode shit and your show is a waste of time using masonic ritual to spark some sort of mystical fascination with your audience. Next time you air a program called Decoded you might actually want to decode something for your audience and not use an esoteric organization to captivate your audience. Huge fan of Discovery Not a fan of your Shit Show Decoded.
