But that seems unlikely – typically comics come out about 2 months before the cover date. If I find anything else that might help, I’ll try to post it here.

I used the Mike’s Amazing World of DC Comics site (which also includes Marvel indexes).

Hey Man, I know its a long shot but I’ve been trying to prove the actual release date of Spider-Man #1. In your story you mention it was released in June. Do you have any proof of that or is it just recollection?? Hopefully you still check on comments on stories you did over 6 months ago, but it is something I’ve been trying to prove for a while, but all I can find is the cover date which is Aug.
