As a South African, I would go with Eliza. The vast majority of South Africans have no idea who Tanit is, especially not in the category of South African actresses. I don’t feel appearing some what as an extra in two maybe three local movies is considered acting by South African, never mind Hollywood standards. Having worked alongside her in the modelling industry, I don’t feel Lisa description reflects her personality at all. For lack of a less harsh word, she is a diva. She also writes about herself in pseudonyms all over the net, making gross overstatements like she is a Charlize Thereon. One has to give it to her though; she is tremendous at marketing herself and does look the part.

she is lovely. wow. i want to look like Tanit. she seems to have some talent. i think she deserves a break too. hey, all the pretty girls acting today, including oscar winners Charlize theron(south African) and Kim Basinger, started out as models. Tanit Phoenix should get the role of Wonder Woman. she is just so beautiful. she looks exotic

Tanit Phoenix is soooo sexy! I just googled her, I would watch her show anyday. All my mates would too. And Wonder Woman is a girls show, but with Tanit as lead, I have no doubt guys will be drooling

Long story short.. I want Tanit Phoenix to play wonder Woman. I think she is better for the role than any candidate put up so far!

For everyone who is out there wanting to know a little on Tanit Phoenix and her current achievements:
Tanit is an South African supermodel who left modeling 3 years ago to focus on her acting. All her projects, however small and ridiculous and badly edited they may seem to some, are a tiny stepping stone in the direction she wants to go: becoming a recognized actress in her field and achieving status as being very good at what she does.

Now that being said, there are not a lot of roles for actresses in South Africa. It is a tough market, and to make it all the way across the ocean, get a visa so that she is eligible to work in the USA, and start being put out on better auditions is a huge milestone! I for one applaud her courage. No doubt people will try to find every bit of work she has done and try to hack what they can out of it and scrutinize the girl, but again I reiterate this, there are not a lot of leading roles for American films going about in SA. Thge filsm that do shoot in South Africa with potential female leading roles, all get cast and booked in the states! Yet, she got her first role in a huge blockbuster opposite Nick Cage and Jared Leto(Lord of War), then did a few South African Indie films, a badly edited Indian film (i hear from an inside source- Maya should never have been released as none of the actors got paid, the director I hear was thrown out and a newby editing guy finished the film without anyone’s help-making all the actors look bad in the film), she then cast in Lost Boys, and on to Spud (SA comedy)opposite British actor John Cleese, and then booked Death Race2 opposite huge names: Sean Bean, Danny Trejo, Luke Goss, Ving rhames, and Tanit Phoenix beat a whole bunch of American girls for that leading role(Death Race is due for release march 2011). That is a first, a south African, on south African soil booking a lead in a Universal studios movie. Amazing. she then arrives in LA, within a week she is booked on FEMME FATALES, as leading actress, which is simply unheard of..

Mark my words, Tanit Phoenix is going to outshine any girl she comes up against, why? She is a talented girl. From people she has worked with I hear she is humble, kind and intelligent and very good at what she does.

Everyone has to start somewhere. She took what was offered to her all the way in South Africa, and made it work for her. People in the states are asking.. Who is this girl? Well, there you have it.. It is working… She is a fresh faced, sexy actress, who deserves a break into the industry. She gets my vote!
