What a great piece! Nelson was my cousin, 7 years older than I. You could probably imagine my fascination with him as I was growing up. His bedroom was amazing–FULL of books! There was one whole shelf of the entire Bible in comic strip form that Nelson had drawn. I still have a hand-drawn Christmas card Nelson made for me when I was young.
After he died, my dad and his other 8 aunts and uncles inherited his belongings. They donated most of his creative things, which was appropriate.
We have copies of eulogies, articles and such that were written after his death. I still miss him!
