Doctor Who unveils new logo

There’s a new Doctor coming in 2010, and the “Doctor Who” show has unveiled a new logo to go along with him. The new logo features stylized letters D and W arranged into a formation to resemble the Tardis. The full name is also spelled out in another version of the logo with new lettering, using the new D and W. Check it out in the above video.

I hate to be a naysayer, and I am sure I will like it once I watch it, but I have very low expectations going into the new regeneration of Doctor Who. Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant did such an outstanding job, I grew to love their take on the character as well as the actors themselves. Matt Smith is going to have to do a lot to wow me.

What, the emo bowtie doesn’t wow you enough?

Absolutely not! This incarnation to me looks to be exactly like Peter Davison’s version. Coming after a hugely popular Tim Baker, they come up with a younger and until now, the youngest Doctor. I have a feeling his version is a lot more appealing to me.
