IMAX pre-sales strong for “Star Trek”
Movietickets.com is reporting nearly half of pre-sales for “Star Trek” at the site are for IMAX screenings.
As of 1 p.m. ET today, almost half (44%) of all “Star Trek” ticket sales at MovieTickets.com are for IMAX screenings.
“Star Trek” will open for a limited two-week run in 134 IMAX theatres domestically on Thursday, May 7. The film will also open in 29 IMAX theatres internationally.
