“King of Kong” attempts to reclaim title
Former “Donkey Kong” world champ Steve Wiebe will attempt to regain his crown at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).
Wiebe’s quest to break the “Donkey Kong” record was showcased in the film “The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters.” Wiebe’s rival, hot-sauce mogul Billy Mitchell, eventually regained the world title from Wiebe and is the current record-holder.
Wiebe’s attempt to break the record will air on G4 on June 2.
