Matt and Kyle, I thought you guys did a very good recap of the history of G.I. Joe in comics. There were periods during the 1980s where this was my favorite comic book, cartoon, and toy line. I remember once actually bringing G.I. Joe #50 to school so that my friends could read it because my parents had taken me to a comic shop in Tulsa, and I was able to buy the issue weeks before it came out in the grocery stores where my friends and I usually bought our comics.
I’m looking forward to the movie, but I have to remember that it won’t be like Larry Hama’s version that I read as a child.
