Brett Ratner in negotiations for Conan

According to The Hollywood Reporter, director Brett Ratner is in final negotiations to helm a “Conan” film.

“Conan” can be cool in the right hands, cheesy in others.  I don’t think I’d be the audience for a Ratner-directed “Conan.”  And I kind of question the likelihood of anybody being able to make the general populace forget Arnold Schwartzenegger enough to make the film their own.  Much remains to be seen on this one.

Who, exactly, IS the target audience for a Brett Ratner directed Conan?

A bunch of mentally handicapped bonobos getting sodomized by aids infected gorillas?

I must say, I’m impressed you got that past the spam blocker.

I might be able to get passed my bias of another actor taking Arnold’s place as Conan, but I have zero interest in a Brett Ratner train wreck.

If Chris Tucker is in as Thulsa Doom and Jackie Chan plays the Wizard, I’m sold.
